Fundraising
The Mundy Community Association raises funds to support a variety of initiatives at Nelda Mundy Elementary. The funds raised are put directly back into our school, supporting students, teachers and staff.
A few programs we support as part of our annual operating budget include IXL, Accelerated Reader, and Sami's Circuit. In addition, we raise funds each year to support school wide initiatives. In the past years we've added a privacy fence around campus, installed an outdoor classroom, purchased a soccer goal for recess, and added new picnic tables.
It is thanks to all of our community - from the big sponsors to the raffle ticket buyers - that we're able to continue to offer impactful support that goes directly toward our Timberwolves.
Move-A-Thon
Our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Move-A-Thon is an annual event that raises funds put directly back into the school - supporting our students, teachers, and staff.
This year fundraising starts on October 5th and goes through the Fun Run on October 15th. Students will have daily challenges and fun activities on campus, leading up to the Fun Run where the Timberwolves see how many laps they can do around the track to raise funds from their pledges.
This year we're raising funds to uplevel our outdoor spaces, including equipment for the new garden area, updating the protective mats the encase our basketball hoop poles, more garbage cans for recess and more!

Mundy Auction
It's an AUCTION YEAR!
Save the date for March 20, 2027!
The Mundy Auction is an adult centered fundraiser that happens every other year.
Our last Auction was in spring of 2025 and was a huge success, raising a record breaking $25,000 for Nelda Mundy. The Casino Night theme was fun for all with dinner and dancing, making it a night to remember. This event happens only every two years - so save the date for spring of 2027, you won't want to miss it!
WinterFest
December 5, 2026
WinterFest is primarily a community event that features local sellers at our very own craft fair. With performances by our Kinder students and Band, it's an event not to be missed.
We raised a small portion of funds through our vendor stalls, raffles items and dessert auction.
Mundy Mixer
A new biennial event, the last Mundy Mixer was in spring of 2026 will take place again in spring of 2028. A community event brining our Timberwolf parents together, we had a blast with some friendly competition, good food and drinks, and amazing raffle baskets!
Funds raise go to support on annual budget and our general fundraising goals to continue improving the Mundy campus and supporting our teachers.
